The Temple of Persephone was a quick historical romance with lots of plays of the Greek myth of Persephone and Hades. I really enjoyed watching the characters come together and of course the secrets that got revealed along the way. I look forward to reading more from Isabella Kamal in the future.

Make Your Own Magic is a great intro into the world of witches. Lots of very helpful advice on where to start and what the journey may look like for you. Also, lots of little bits of wisdom and poetry worked in with Lovelace's signature style.

A very cool look through the path Barbie took from the initial idea to it's lasting impact on our world today. I really enjoyed learning more about how it came to be.

If Ali Hazelwood wants to write paranormal romances forever that would be amazing. I grew up reading this genre, I'm looking at you Bitten by Kelley Armstrong, and happily gobbled up more in this genre. I really liked Misery and how strong she was in her search for Serena and everything else her life had thrown at her. ALSO Lowe???  Amazing 10/10 would recommend and watching their story evolve was a joy with some plot twists as well. I really really hope we get a Serena story sometime in the future.

Another great Chicago stars romance! I enjoyed watching this story play out as well as trying to figure out the who-dunit within. Can't wait to go back an re-read all of this series now.

The Catch is the last book in the "Influencer series" from Amy Lea. In this one we follow Melanie as she heads up to Halifax to a resort for work. After a mix up with the dates she flies in a week to early and ends up in small town Nova Scotia at a small family inn where she is not wanted. Enter Evan, grumpy fisherman and owner of the inn, after a whale watching trip goes wrong, Melanie pretends to be his fiance and they spend the next week trying to convince Evan's family of their relationship. A lot of will-they won't-they in this book along with two great characters who I'm so happy we get to see their happily ever after. I really enjoyed this book and I look forward to reading more from Amy Lea.
