i did not understand the hype for this book or for its characters! i understand what people find appealing about grayson and jameson but couldn’t relate because i thought they were too one dimensional. i found the writing style juvenile and the plot predictable and the ending was so anticlimactic. what was the twist?? i genuinely couldn’t tell you. (but i was really tired while reading the second half of the book so that could be a factor) the “glass ballerina or the knife” metaphor got on my nerves and she said it so many times and i did not think it was meaningful at all.
