I really enjoyed getting to know Lula and Brogan Gauge!  This book is very different other books I have read and I love that about it.  Love for the ages on Route 66!  This book is sweet in many ways with the connection between Lula and Brogan.  I really felt the love and longing. I look forward to learning more about the attack that made them this way and more about both characters.  I am curious about what Lula has been through in her past. I really enjoyed the Ordinary Magic series and wanted to read more from this author.  Her books are fantastic and I hope they are chosen one day for a movie or a TV series!  I can see them so clear while I read.

This was a great book. I liked the ending and it was a little surprising to me. I am glad this was a good ending for the series. I enjoyed the last book with the Alex Craft! This was a great book!

I do not read many apocalyptic books.  I think they are usually better on TV or in movies.  I have to say that this book for me has changed this opinion! I really enjoyed getting to know Kan, Rudy, and Mac.  I loved all the characters even the not so great ones.  I am not a "Walking Dead" fan but I was very happy I loved this book so much.  I had my reservations since I do not like the "Walking Dead" but I am so glad I took a chance on this book.  I am looking forward to finding out what comes next for this trilogy. Also, Annie Walls is a new author for me and I am glad that she kept my interest with this book.  She is from Nashville, TN which makes her a neighbor!  Great book Annie and please keep these awesome books coming!

I really enjoyed this book. The banter between Julie and Derek brought back my memories of why I loved the Kate Daniels series so much. I hope Derek chases Julie in the next book and the banter continues. I hope they become a couple. I think they will be as unstoppable as Kate and Curran. I can't wait to see what Ilona has for us in the next book! What a great book, and to be honest when I first started this book I was worried it was not going to be as good as the Kate Daniels series but I am glad I was worried for no reason. Loved it! I listened to this book as an audio book and I enjoyed the narrator Suzanne Elise Freeman very much. It was a long book for Suzanne but she brought the book to life for me.
