This was SUCH a great read! 4.5 βοΈ and 3 maybe 3.5πΆοΈ and as for trigger or content warnings, definitely make sure you check for yours because there are some tough topics and scenes in this book! With all that said, I absolutely LOVED this story. π₯°
I was completely hooked right away with the murder mystery plot line, I always appreciate when we get to experience the story as we learn the background on the characters and plot. I did have my suspicions really solidified about 60% into the book but was still SHOCKED at how things unfolded and the details that came along with it that I never would have guessed!
I was obsessed with all of the relationships in this story and really appreciated the complexity of the romantic relationships and how human and imperfect but vulnerable they felt. And OF COURSE I loved every single moment we got with our new favorite shadow daddy π€ He gave me major Killian from Once Upon A Time vibes and Iβm here for it! I think a majority of my highlighting and notes were things that Ender said or did π
And that end was just beautiful ππΌππΌ the way my jaw hit the floor!!!! Absolutely fabulous book, highly recommend!
