The illustrations are great, but the story would likely bore my niece in a heartbeat. :-/

I picked this up because of the author. Who knew Weird Al had written a kids' books?! And it's awesome! I always hated the "what do you want to be when you grow up" questions and this handles that question wonderfully. I can't wait to read it to my niece and nephew. :-D

It's about a cat (lions are just really big cats, after all) and a library. What's not to love? It's an adorable story with lovely illustrations and the main character is a lion in a library. :-D

Beautiful illustrations, but I guess I need to have already liked the song or maybe have seen all of the animated movie that I vaguely remember seeing bits and pieces of for it to mean anything to me. It appears that it's just the lyrics to the song, but either they left some out or the melody is just really really good when it's sung. The book does come with a music CD, but I'm not willing to load it up at the moment.

There was a whole lot of sex... And a whole lot of almost but not quite sex... And a whole lot of graphic descriptions of the male parts used for sex...

I think there was too much sex...

But it's the first story of the series that I'm committed to reading. Everyone needs cotton candy, Alysha, everyone needs cotton candy. Even you, occasionally.

This was highly enjoyable. :-D I haven't watched the "Sing-Along Blog" yet, but this graphic novel just pushed it to the top of my list. :-D

So I learned about Welsh pronunciation and that King Arthur had an albino son... I was not ready at all for this book to end.

Many current politicians should go back to kindergarten and refresh those simple lessons. :-)
