Short, quick, fun, fated-mate, alien/human.  :)  That's really all you need to know.  Oh, and pirates! :)  I mean, that is what corsair means even though I didn't know that going in.  We meet a band of pirates who sees a human woman who's been purchased by someone and they rescue her.  Nice, clean, happily-ever-after. :)

Two people from two different worlds with a common enemy.  It was so fun following along with Laia and Elias and seeing how their storylines finally came together and then what happened at the end to set up for the rest of the series.  I can't wait for what's to come.
