I really enjoyed this!
The worldbuilding in this quick read was fleshed out and felt (unfortunately) like it could be something that would be realistic. I was also very pleasantly surprised at how much emotion and connection between the MCs that the author was able to pack into a novella! I loved Cale and Eben together, and I was really rooting for them.
I am excited to see what else will happen in this world and how everything will work out for the next MCs!
