What a beautiful look at two people trying to be in a relationship 🤍
Daisy has closed herself off from people after being constantly let down by them. Tanner is still learning how to trust again after a failed engagement leaves him skeptical of love. The two of them will have to learn how to open up and communicate if they want their happily ever after.
I really enjoyed how different this was from other romances I’ve read recently. It was a bit more serious and slower paced which allowed for the author to really write in depth about the characters and their issues/ motivations. I liked how well developed Daisy and Tanner were and how I could really feel their connection. I also thought the author did a great job writing about anxiety and how it affected both Daisy’s day-to-day life and relationships. It’s always refreshing to me when both love interests have to fight for the relationship and can see where they could have been better.
I’m looking forward to reading more from AK Morgan!
