This book means so much to me. As a gay child in ballet, I resonated with the whole narrative. I think any 'feminine' sports share similarities. Being closeted while enjoying the art and athleticism, and knowing that this is not what you want to do with your life, and quitting abruptly in high school...I experienced all of this. The first time I read this book, I snuck it into my bedroom and devoured in a sitting, and promptly cried.

The general information and possible solutions was potentially helpful. I couldn't stand the separatism from the trans community Eris employs-it reads as transphobic.
