This series has completely invaded my Tik Tok feed, it’s honestly all I see. I find a lot of booktok series don’t tend to live up to the massive hype they’re given, but so far so good. This isn’t the first BDSM book I read but I just found this one was just lacking something. Don’t ask me what, cause I can’t figure it out. I found that I wasn’t really gripped into the story, just reading it, to read. I wish there was more time with the characters so we could see her issue solved. I feel like this book had quite a bit of leading up to the ‘main event’, but just as it got there and to the peak, it just ended. I think the book just needed at little but more wrapping up at the end. I will say the spice in this was pretty darn good, I wouldn't expect less from Willow Winters.

“I want him as a partner, a boyfriend, whatever he wants to call it. I need more than a Dom. But I think he knows that. Maybe I’m just pretending. Playing house so that I don’t have to believe that I’m just his pet. Just a Submissive he bought at the auction. It feels like so much more though, at least to me.”

I really wanted to love this one, but for some reason, I just wasn’t that much into it. I found myself skim-reading at times just to finish the book. That could partially be because I’m impatient and just wanna read Damon’s Book. I quite enjoyed Kai and Nikovas' Relationship, and I loved that it kept switching timelines, I enjoyed that the was some depth and past to their relationship. This book had some suspense, mystery and action in it, but it’s the spice that 100% took the cake for me. I don’t really like Rika that much, so the scene where Banks fought her, was definitely quite amusing to me. I really love this series and I can’t wait to see where it goes and what other mysteries unfold.

“People will think what they want to think, not because they believe they are right, but because it’s in their nature to maintain that they are. By defending yourself, you feed the appetite for drama. By not, you’ve ended the conversation. You. Not them.”

I really love Jenika Snows, Underworld Kings, I enjoy all the characters and their stories, plus I love seeing how they all interconnect. And yes I am completely reading this series out of order, but that’s me lol. So far I would say that this one has been my least favourite of the series, but I think that is mainly because it took so long for me to get into the story and attach myself to the characters. Although I understood her, I found Lina to be slightly annoying. Arlo however, I just loved him, I mean don’t we all love alphahole mafia men. This was a good book and I enjoyed it, I just now have Corruption left to read and All The Dangerous Things, when that comes out.

The first book, Luxuria, was the first monster smut I had ever read and was one of my favourite reads of last year. Ever since then, I have been waiting for this book, a year later and I finally got to read it. This one was about Astrid (Ophelia’s Sister) and Soren, the Captain of the Guard. They are real enemies to lovers and, the first I’ve read of it, grumpy x grumpy. I Loved the first book more but, I really enjoyed reading this book, and delving into this universe more. The spicy scenes were 100% perfect and the little fluff scenes at the end had my heart melting.

Short, Steamy, Werewolf Spice.

This was a nice read, but I just didn’t really get into as much as i thought I would. It seemed to me like something was missing and it felt a little rushed. I really enjoy Willow Winters books and also Paranormal Romances, so I thought this was gonna but a 5 star for me. The hero’s in this book were great, I just couldn’t mesh with the heroines, I felt they were slightly whiny and just irked me a little. Also I wanna know what is up with Lizzie. I think the girls should have been told earlier in the book, and not in the last chapter or two, so we could see some more interactions with them and their mates. This is a series, and the next book picks up from the end of this one, so maybe all I need is to just read the next one. Can’t wait to see we’re the story goes.

Big, Blue Alien claims a Human mate.

“Up until yesterday, I, Georgie Carruthers, never believed in aliens.”

I think this is the book that had been sitting in my tbr pile the longest. After constantly seeing this series all over my social media, I finally got around to it and I will say I was not disappointed. I was eating when I started this book, but after the whole ‘bucket’ fiasco, I was not.

This was a nice read, the prologue really grips you in and shows just how the rest the book is gonna be. This is the prequel to the Highest Bidder Series, and it’s actually just the first few chapters of book one, Bought. So really not much has happened yet, but I’m on to read the rest of Bought.

This book was a nice read, definitely a good solid enemies to lover, paranormal romance. I love how this book just jumped straight in and cut to the chase, although it did tend to feel a little jumpy at times, but that could have just been from its fast pace. I definitely would have loved to have seen Rooks POV during some parts of the book, I think it really would have added to the story, and brought it up a star. Between being captured, rejected and forced into marriage, things just kept not going Pyrah’s way during this book. She spent half of this book trying to get laid, and well I will say, when she eventually did, SHE DID. (Oh and that tail tho, Jesus). The connection between the two, especially with her in heat, was intense to say the least. Would be intrigued to see where the story leads in the second book.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Ahhhh, Holy shit what did I just read, this was amazing. I don’t even know what to write about it, it’s just that fucking good. I went into this book blind and the first sentence had me giggling, a little shocked and hooked. I certainly knew what I was getting myself into when the 14th word was dick, and she killed a guy in the first two pages. Selene is psychotic murder in all the best ways. Choosing to kill men who maim, rape and murder women, (basically the scum of the earth), under her vigilante name “Reaper”, and parading herself around as a prostitute. It was so nice to finally see a strong heroine who gave no shits, and got the job done, I’m so used to seeing such vulnerable, submissive women in this kind of book genre, but this was so refreshing seeing such a powerful secure women for once. Tho I’m not sure how I feel about her fucking her victims and giving them pleasure, before she kills them. I think she should just flat out destroy them, they honestly deserve it at this point. But oh well, a girls gotta do what she’s gotta do, and if she’s gotta lure them in with sex, what can I say. Oh my god the steaminess in this book was a whole other level, I mentioned earlier that she was psychotic and this really showed here… I mean who doesn’t love some knife play. Oh and using the blood as lube, ah wow! I’m not sure who I wanted more scenes with in this story, all four boys brought their own kinda spice to the book. Blaze, Zander, Santos and Darius were absolutely obsessed with Selene, and honestly I don’t blame them one bit. This book contained many spice scenes including group ones and even some m/m. Honestly this is the dark, brutal romance that I wanted, and I am so glad it delivered.

“What the fuck are you talking about? You’re not going anywhere, you’re fucking mine, Selene. If you leave, I’ll fucking drag you back by your hair!”

I honestly had no idea that this existed. It was a fun little read, gives you a little view into the world of trouble and antics these two got up to. I want to know why they were driving the bike so fast? What were they up to? I NEED ANSWERS, I NEED MORE THAN 800 Words.

“On 11 June 2008, Waterstones held a charity event called "What's Your Story?". Thirteen authors, including Rowling, were invited to write stories on an A5 card for auction with proceeds going to English PEN and Dyslexia Action.
