I probably wasn't the target audience for this but I really loved it. We need more fantasies about autistic people, by autistic people that aren't just about being autistic. I saw the plot twist coming but I still really enjoyed it. Really hope there is more to come with this series.

So I read this book every day for the whole of 2023 and I cannot recommend it enough. It is really lovely and I really enjoyed watching the seasons change along with this book. I thought the illustrations were gorgeous and the transitions between months were really cool. I also like the personal touches this author added and the language with which he described the plants, bird, bugs and animals he chose to feature in this book.

I am normally really hesitant about going into kids books but this on was just incredible. The plot and the message were just so beautifully written and I would recommend to all other autistic people.
