All Rhodes Lead Here by Mariana Zapata

I think this book was overall alright and there were some sweet general elements related to self growth/discovery and grief. I liked how he was like 40 and mature(ish?) and wasnβt a freak but I canβt believe it was a 572 pages π Unfortunately I am 0/2 for Mariana Zapata so far and unsure if Iβll give her another shot even tho I know so many people love her
Here are some low points Iβd like to share:
- Aurora and co saying police officers and military members are cute π€’π€’π€’
- Constant Ali hazelwood like references to Rhoades being tall, massive, how large his shoe size probably is, and his general overprotectiveness being super hot
- Weird part where Rhoades compliments her physical appearance by saying how similar to his mom she looks ππ
- Him randomly calling her angel and buddy - buddy in reference to her being like buddy the elf like HUHHH??? In what universe is that romantic Iβm π΅βπ«π΅βπ«π΅βπ« I think Zapata needs to be stopped from using pet names (see meatball in from lukov w love)
- Her casually having $10 million - which made no sense and was lowkey only revealed 85% into the book
