Technically ive finished this book already but i forgot to take notes on the last 60 ish pages so i have to reread them for my analysis in school but my review is soon to come. The more i read this book the more annoyed i get when i realise that the reason i have to read lt is for school

The writing deserved 5 stars, Virginia Woolf is so very talented but reading this ws hard which made it less enjoyable on my part, still an interesting book though + really fun diving into the different characters minds!

Okay now that I've had a bit of time to think after reading this, i just want to preface by saying that i do not hate this book by any means, i just did not like the main character Tori, she was just too insuffrable. I liked Charlie i guess obvioulsy because i’ve watched heartstopper but yeah Tori was unlikable. I don’t know why the book was written, idk the themes were confusing. Was this book about bullying? Friendship? Mental health? Or was it a thriller?
I also didn’t like how Tori dealt with Charlie’s mental health, i just felt like the comments that she was making were just borderline heartless. She is so self-centered, i wish she could realize that everything isn’t about her. And beacuse this book had so many different storylines all of them just felt very surface level.
