I’m so glad it’s over because oh my god I was STRESSED. Loved the ending, the readers deserved a good one after 500 pages of agony (being stuck in Jacks head).

One qualm I did have was Dick calling Jack a good man at the end. I know he was consoling Danny, but still. Jack wasn’t a good man. He was evil, abusive, and hated not so secretly hated around him. Despite the hotels power perpetuating this, and giving him an opportunity to kill them,  he was always evil.

i enjoyed the ending. many dystopians end with the main character destroying evil dystopian dictator, but this didn’t.

Genuinely insane! The sequence at the end was crazy, my thoughts were changing every second and I had no idea what was going to pan out. I LOVED the ending, am glad all my loves were safe, and felt completely vindicated after all the pain this series put me through. The writing was just fantastic and completely immersive, and the skill of writing the battle scenes was impeccable. I have NEVER been able to comprehend/keep up with fight scenes in books, but this was written with such eloquence that I could truly see it all in my head. The ups and downs and twists and turns were incredible and I read this once edge of my fictional seat! Amazing book 5/5
