I had high hopes for this book because I have loved his other books. This book was so long and drawn out. The cover makes it seem that you’re going to hear about murder while you do. You learn far more history about the Morman than is necessary for the story. It’s not a horrible book, just not something I enjoyed.

The book was interesting and started strong, it’s very dark and gory. I enjoyed it but as I got closer to the ending it started to lose my interest. I didn’t care for the ending either.
