I reeeeeally didn’t the FMC at the start but I loved her by the end. I felt like something was missing but I don’t know what it was. An enjoyable read though!

It just wasn’t for me. She woke up with a hangover after a single sip of whiskey the night before and I just couldn’t believe any of the interactions so couldn’t get into it

Unfortunately this really wasn’t for me. I loved the premise of the book but the characters didn’t feel real to me and I couldn’t believe their feelings. They also jumped a bit all over the place and the FMC was often purposefully obtuse just for the point of the plot but no one would act that way. A real shame.
