The description of the book is very misleading to the main premise. There’s many… unexpected plot twists to say the least.

The first half of the book was fairly slow. It’s just going through Jess’s life and what she does. Towards the middle it picks up and becomes interesting. You might have to suspend your beliefs to fully enjoy it, but it was entertaining.

It was unique and I did want to know what happened. The romance was cute but the characters fell a bit flat for me. I did not grow too attached to any of them which always makes a book less enjoyable.

Overall, it was an entertaining, quick read that makes you want to know what will happen next.

Wow. Just wow. That’s all I have to say.

Holly Jackson strikes again in the long-awaited finale for A Good Girls Guide to Murder. It was amazing.

A tense, can’t-put-the-book-down plot and revisiting the characters we know and love in a darker light.

This book is so much darker than the first two and it fits really well with the events that took place. You can tell Pip has been through so much and has changed because of it.

The plot twists are just…… yeah. I was freaking out in disbelief. They were crazy and so, so unexpected, but very well executed. The ending had me almost crying.

And now it’s over. I wasn’t ready for it done yet. I need more Pip, Ravi, and the whole gang. But wow. Way to go out with a bang.

I loved this prequel to A Good Girl's Guide to Murder. I got to revisit all my favorite characters in a short, but engaging read. There was some foreshadowing to the rest of the series. The murder mystery party plot was interesting, because you know it's just a game but I was invested nonetheless.

Wow. Rebel was such a good addition to the Legend series. I think I enjoyed it more than the main trilogy. The setting was really interesting and I loved reading from Eden's point of view. I was always curious about him. It was nice to revisit the characters and see how they were doing. If you liked the trilogy, I highly recommend that you give this sequel a try.

This book really dives deep into Japanese culture and mythology. With stunning art work and an interesting plot it’s a nice quick read.
