My first 5-star read of 2024 and I know I'm going to think about it for months. The book really drew me in and I found Adrienne Young's writing to be beautiful and compelling. All of the characters were well written, even the ones you don't really like. The story encapsulates so much in such little time without ever feeling rushed or like it's dragging. The time travel aspect was interesting and the love story so seamlessly woven into the plot that I almost didn't see it coming. I hadn't anticipated the second-change romance but Eamon won me over and you can so easily see how June fell in love with him. I loved the matriarchal lineage and how a mother's love can make and break curses. There is a lot to unpack there with June, her mother, and all of the Farrow women. This is overall an absolutely stunning book and I can't wait to read more from Adrienne Young.
