What an inspiring and uplifting manifesto! It's such a celebration of creative expression and queer history. This captivating quote from pages 177-178 really resonated with me:

"The past can and must be revealed all around us. It's not a static, dead thing; the past is alive and well, shaping and being shaped by our current reality, whether we recognise it or not. Rewriting myths to recenter the erased Black, Indigenous, disabled, queer, and trans stories isn't an easy task. But art - including drag - helps fill in some missing pieces. Art can help us bring in new voices and perspectives from the past - not just with facts, but with realness and fantasy, too. Only when we have an understanding of our collective past can we truly live each day intentionally, and shape new ways forward."
