King of Scars by Leigh Bardugo

Did not finish book. Stopped at 42%.
Disappointed... I wanted well...more.
I have only read the Six Of Crows duology so I won't comment very much on Zoya and Nikolai since I don't know them from the past books, but they seem...flat? I felt nothing for them. I actually found Zoya interesting in the few scenes she appeared on the Six Of Crows books than here in the whole book!
Nina... Leigh Bardugo did her so dirty... That's not Nina. I get that she is a different person because of the grief but this is next level, the author seemed to not care about the story of this character everything felt forced especially *SPOILER* *SPOILER* *SPOILER* the romance between her and Hanne. I picked up this book for that exact reason, for the sapphic relationship and just no... And I'm really starting to believe that the way the author writes Nina and some scenes really have a fatphobic ring to them which I don't like at all.
It was a big disappointment for me, and I just had to DNF it.
