DNF at 42%  so not leaving a rating 

I usually like multiple POV and timelines but this bounced around so much it was hard to keep track of what happened when. 

The age gap relationship also made me itchy since they meet when he’s a full grown adult and she’s a young child. Gross. Admittedly I didn’t get far enough into it to see how the relationship developed, because when I found out that it happens I wasn’t super comfy continuing.

I was sure this was going to be 3⭐️ for the first half of the book. While beautifully written, it was slow and I found myself skimming through trying to get to the point of all the pretty words. The last third though was fantastic; the pace picked up and there was so much happening that I couldn’t wait to see what else would be discovered.
