I really appreciated that this book balanced hope and happiness with sadness and despair. A lot of the stories had positive outcomes rather than horrible ones, and I appreciate that.

My god. I want to cry but I can’t. Very possibly the best book I’ve read all year. Sad, yet not sad

Very beautiful, truly. So many different ideas that I don’t have the capacity to write about now. It does make me feel a bit bad for the author because it’s clear she has very mixed feelings about writing stories and the “worth” of that. I was surprised that it had a happy ending as I was honestly prepared for the worst. It makes me glad that the “moral” is that relationships can be messy but you can work things out, and that you can love other people.
