 this one was such a delight to read! I had a few problems with how the characters sometimes talked, but the story was entertaining nonetheless. annie was a conflicting character to me, I must say — because while I could relate to her in many ways, she did feel a bit immature to me at times (which it makes sense in retrospect, when we consider her family situation). watching her grow along the book is nice. I really enjoyed the romance between her and will and how they understand and respect each other's needs. will's growth is very special in this, too.

I enjoyed this one more than "when in rome", and I can't wait to read "beg, borrow, or steal" next!

just very underwhelming. didn't care about any of the characters and the plot twist was just eh.
good audiobook with a full cast to pass the time though.

é muito doido você crescer sabendo quem é uma artista como a britney, ter visto tudo o que ela passou do ponto de vista da mídia e não fazer a mínima ideia do que realmente acontecia na vida pessoal dela... me senti angustiada em muitos momentos enquanto lia e ouvia o audiobook, e a medida que ela vai relatando sobre como as coisas foram se encaminhando para a curatela acontecer, você vai se sentindo impotente junto com ela. como que pode essa família ter se juntado pra fazer uma mulher tão incrível dessas acreditar que não era capaz de viver sozinha nem tomar conta da própria vida??

fico feliz que a britney tenha conseguido sair dessa situação e que hoje ela viva mais feliz e do jeito que ela realmente quer, livre, independente do que os outros pensem dela.
