Melonie!! I can never look at shrimp pad Thai again without laughing. The seagull truly was a great character, he may even be my favorite. I loved the layers of romantic comedy tropes throughout this book. The characters are darling and the banter with all the characters was great. Excited to read your other books and your next series is sure to be a hit!!

Really loved this ace representation. I feel like some of the tendencies of the main character are also on the spectrum (autism). Fox is delicious and I appreciated showing a close relationship between a man and a woman that isn't technically romantic.
it was revealed that they both had romantic feelings but eventually figured out they were the wrong fit

Really enjoyed this trilogy, and this book wrapped up a lot of character growths and perspective changes. I appreciate the author's attention to detail, and world building.

I'm so glad I read the second installment. I must have misread that this one was going to be based in Washington D.C. It was great to get to know Grey more in depth. Lia Mara's character was lovely and well developed. The surprise twist ending is truly mind blowing. Guess I'll have to read the last one to know what happens.
