 Despite the fact that this book was very formulaic, it was quite enjoyable. You could read this in one sitting and get exactly what you’d expect from it.

I think this story is interesting so far, but as many of these end-of-the-world-except-a-small-group-survives story goes, it will either end with something new and fresh or something that fell flat on its face.

I thought this book would be better considering how popular it is but I was quite disappointed. There were certainly good moments, however, the rest of the book was boring.
