There’s so much to like in this delightful magicpunk novel, with some really solid character development. One relationship within I couldn’t vibe with, but I nevertheless liked both characters and their contributions to the story. In fact, I liked all the characters, very much so, and I also adored the aesthetic created by Jones and Bennett. I especially loved the dragons. That said, the conflicts encountered were resolved a little too weakly for my taste. So much so that, combined with the relationship I did not especially love, I felt compelled to give this ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Will I read the next? I think so. Am I dying to do so? No.
