Ok the ending I didn't suspect but I did get an idea of what might occur just didn't figure it was who it was all along

1st book of this series was 100% better. This book just felt drawn out

Also over the we end up as serial killers together endings in these dark romances. It's old and ridiculous imo but I still read so there is that.

Although I initially enjoyed this book I just  didn't know where it was going at times.

I didnt understand Throwing the daughter in there and having her mouth sewn up. I also felt the ending was too drawn out the last 2 chapters imo were not needed. And although I love a good sex scene they felt thrown in there too.

Overall this book was well written and helped shine a light on addictions in families. I read this book feeling like I was living through the main character in high school again. I knew those feelings and felt for her. I don't want to give spoilers a way but it will make you think not only about addiction but even how your idea of parenting.
