"And when I think about my life, I think of you in it. You are my entire world, Julie. And one day, maybe I'll only be a small piece of yours. I hope you keep that piece."

Thank you Dustin Thao for making me sobbed my eyes out at 12.15 am, I'm not okay...

This book... GOD THIS BOOK! I don't even know how to write this review with blurry eyes. I love this book so much and this will definitely be one of my favorite books of all time even though it isn't a 5⭐ for me. This will forever have a special place in my heart.

A story about grieving, holding on, and letting go. Just writing that made me want to cry some more 😢 I love how Dustin Thao writes about grieving because I found myself shedding a few tears as if I'm grieving with Jules. I also love how significant the side characters are because they also are grieving in their own way. Not to mention I just love them as they are 🥰 The last thing that took me off guard yet I'm so in love with is the twist (I'll just call it a twist) in the end... It broke me; ruined me. I didn't expect the last few pages to happen!

However, there are some things that I am not a big fan of and that is a deal-breaker for me. For instance, some things kind of got a bit too repetitive and that made me lose focus on reading sometimes (for some reason). And it has long chapters; not a big fan even though there are page breaks. Almost rated this a 4.25⭐ but the Hardback I have added an extra 0.25 stars because it's BEAUTIFUL!!!

I may be a bit late on reading this book, but no doubt I will recommend this to every single person! This was so memorable in such a heart-breaking but you get so much closure. Loveeee You've Reached Sam so much!

"Even when you're not there, you're everywhere. In my head, in my lungs, in my fucking soul."

This is by far my most highlighted book.

I'm gonna say this with no shame; Twisted Games is better than Twisted Love. I don't care what anyone says but Bridget and Rhys are SUPERIOR! I love them so much, together and as each person. But I want to give Bridget all the credit and appreciation for being one of the strongest women I've encountered. She is a fucking badass!!! And as Rhys said, "You don't need a crown to be a queen, princess."

Rhys. Rhys fucking Larsen. Alex Volkov who? I only know a brick wall (iykyk)... But just kidding, I love you Alex <3. Rhys is the best bodyguard I've ever encountered (I'm sorry Romero I love you so much :')) And OMG he became hotter and hotter with each deadly thought he has... I have issues :') Either way, he is the reason I highlighted so much in this book. Damn Rhys. Damn.

Don't even get me started with the plot?! WTF?! The plot was too good! I LOVE forbidden romance and this was so well-written I found myself on the edge of my seat a lot of times!!! And for real, like FOR REAL Ana can write an ending for a companion novel series!!! Back to the plot, I just love that this book was divided into 2 parts (and Ana ended part 1 perfectly)!

3 last things. If you think you'll get away with tears, think again! Fuck I got blurry eyes a lot of times! The smut... it was good as fuck! One of the best I've ever read, in fact!!! However, I have one problem that I need to address with a heavy heart. Some things got a bit repetitive... I'll just leave it at that.

The Twisted Series will definitely be a highlight read of this year, even though I've only read the first 2 books so far 😅.

"I'll drain every fucking lake and ocean in the world if I have to."

I LOVE this book so much! Amazing plot & fitted title! Not to mention what the cover represents!!! I was a bit disappointed in some parts, mainly the fact that it wasn't as spicy as I thought (sorry...). But, I still enjoyed it a lot! There are plot-related things that made went "seriously?", that I won't say what it is due to spoiler purposes, but thankfully it turns out better than I thought!

I feel like Ana Huang is still experimenting with certain tropes here, so there are some parts that felt forced and not executed well enough. However, I know her writing improves as the series continues and I can't wait to read the rest of the series! Nonetheless, I love how the side characters played in Ava and Alex's life and it made me get attached quickly to the point where I'm gonna binge this series!

Ava and Alex deserve all the love in the world and I would literally defend them from any haters that would dare to talk shit about them cause they went through so much and they've grown into these amazing people <3

"I want you to be mine in here, and I want to be yours out there."

This book has become my current favorite book of all time.

Sierra Simone is a GENIUS! American Queen is a masterpiece! The plot, the characters, the subtle political aspect, the tension, the love triangle, the s*ut, and the ending of this book is... a chef's kiss! This book ended in a good way where you're left satisfied with the whole book, but you can't wait to read the 2nd one IMMEDIATELY!!!

I honestly didn't know this was a love triangle but GOD is this the best love triangle to ever exist! Yes, this is only from Greer's (FMC) POV, but you'll feel like you get all (3 MCs) of their POVs by how strong their bond is!

Lastly, it's not my spicy book review if I don't talk about the scenes! And well, somebody give me those holy water right now while I'm begging for forgiveness for reading this book... Sierra Simone is such a fantastic writer, both the spicy scenes and not!

This may not be everyone's cup of tea, nonetheless, I highly (and will always) recommence this book to every single person I'll encounter in life! Umm, except my mom...
