I read this book when I was little. My 8 yr old son just read it and he said it's boring. I think maybe it's better for younger children.

Good points

This book has some very good points and tips for people interested in writing short books. I haven't put this book into practice yet, but I believe it has good advice regardless of the genre you write. It is a short, easy to read book.

Alright

The rhyming was cute but the illustrations weren't eye-catching and the book was very small as an ebook - I found the writing very hard to read because it was so small.

This book is very long but thoroughly researched. I learned a lot from it and found it interesting that it had a Canadian twist as well. It reads more like a nonfiction than a novel tho.

One of my favorite children's books. It made my mother cry and reading it now to my own child, I find it emotional.
