Its super slow, like one chapter is one day or less and the next chapter starts with waking up, and the book covers not just a few weeks but months. I usually enjoy faster pace, but this book was super intriguing and read almost like a prophecy for the main trilogy.

It was predictable what will happen, but I still really enjoyed this read.

I really enjoyed this read, but to me there are some holes in the development of the main character, even though I’ve grown to love the main character. I felt that the first portion of the book was much slower and even different in style than the second portion. Also there was some weird wording, but that’s probably the fault of the german translation. I will
definitely read the next books in this series in english.

Its a classic, and its pretty god. I mean if it was bad no one would have read the hole Harry Potter series. It got me back into reading. The only reason why it does not have five stars is because I can‘t relate to Harry, the main character that much. I would recomend it. Have a nice day and sorry if my english is terrible.
