As someone who hasn’t read any other books from the series, this book was a good read, but I also felt kinda lost at times!.
Although, thanks to this book I now want to read the other books and I will have to re-read this book once I finish reading the series and get a proper opinion about it.

Indie is very relatable character and her connection with Ray and River was amazing. They were there for each other, no matter what. Kade’s character had a great development and in the end he was actually quite likeable.
This story is going to make you laugh, cry and it will also make you angry at times. It’s definitely an emotional rollercoaster. So buckle up!
The romance is slow burn, but when it finally gets to those anticipated scenes, the level of spice is absolutely not low! I would give it 3.4/5 🌶️
This book was an easy read that pulls you in and you don’t want to put it down until you find out the ending.

Their banter was funny and the way they teased each other was entertaining.
Seraphine had some unthinkable way of dealing with men, which you can’t be surprised by. They treated her like a killing machine and used her in many ways.
When she gets rescued my Leroi he gets to see himself what she does. And in order to help her get rid off the men that hurt her, he helps by training her. During this time they make a reward system.
There were many occasions where I thought - “They are finally going to get together and things will happen”… but noooooo… we didn’t get that for such a long time!
It was a great slow burn romance and the gruesome scenes were actually fun to read about! 😂😂
