Liked it a lot, the start was a bit slow, but the ending picked up a lot. Definitely will keep reading the series

It was a good book, it really was. For me, I saw it advertised as a Cruel prince but with more romance, and it kind of was exactly that. But it was a tiny bit forgetable at times. There was a period when i stopped reading the book for like 3 months. And just picked it up again. Violet was a good FMC, sometimes her decision making did piss me of tho. But overall its good.

Reading about Oak's story was very interesting, seeing him grown up since The Cruel prince. Wren/Suren was an interesting main character, a lot of her story was her trauma from childhood years. While book is an adventure book, where the main group of characters go on a mission.
