I did enjoy reading this book but there was definitely some tonal inconsistencies that kept me from being in love with it. The start was very dark and twisted but somewhere along the way that got muted and became almost cutsey at times which even in the plot didn't really make sense. Overall it was a fun time though and I would be interested in the other books in this series.

I loved this book. Such an amazing follow up to the AFTG series and has firmly revamped my obsession. I will probably be reading it again soon to hold off my absolute need for the next book to come.
Jean Moreau and Jeremy Knox are relatively small characters in AFTG, but this book gave them both so much more depth and complexity that I loved so much. I flew through this story in 1 day since I was hooked from the first page.
(As for any book in the AFTG series, please look up all trigger/content warnings before reading.)
