Why Don't I Have Anything to Wear? by Andrea Cheong

I could see this book was trying to make lots of really good points that, unfortunately, were not communicated clearly enough. The structure of the book felt cohesive but once you got into each chapter the actual content felt rambly and unstructured, and I wasn't sure what each paragraph was trying to convey. The whole thing could have done with more structural edits and above anything else, copy edits! There was so much incorrect grammar and syntax, punctuation mistakes and just a lot of things that needed an extra proofreading round. I don't know if it actually was a rushed publication but it read as such. I'm so sad because I really wanted to have this as a good reference book and I do think Andrea is such a good communicator in her medium of choice (TikTok videos). Unfortunately I think she needed more support/help than she got when writing her ideas into a book form.
