Really enjoyed the book for most parts but it got too predictable and cheesy towards the end. But overall it was a good book with interesting characters and plot.
When I first picked up this book I thought it was just going to be another chick-lit. And I'm glad I was wrong. The Duff is more than that. It is friendship, family struggles and accepting who you are. I loved this book. I loved all the pop culture references and the Wuthering Height's comparassion. The characters were believable and I definitely felt connected to Bianca, the protagonist. It was a nice book surprise :)
Good way to start the new year!
Read it in portuguese and loved it; but hated it at the same time, because I think the translation wasn't that good. However, I still loved this book. The last chapters were like just WOW WOW WOW.
The main character is really funny and I liked her pov.
Looking forward to read the next one!

This is a book about a love that is so strong that is timeless. A book about reincarnation, living different lives in different times.
This is a book that has a good premise although I felt it could have been done in a better way. Through out the book we get two point of views, both from the lovers, and they take us through times like Prehistory, Egypt, Greece, the burning of the witches of Salem, Paris in the 20's and the present time.
The romance wasn't very strong and sometimes I felt lost, although from the 1920's and so on, the book got really good and I was engaged in the plot. It was a nice cute read.
|PLUS| From the 1920's till the end.
|MINUS| The romance could have been better developed.

I reached the last page of this book and I'm left with a bit of sadness. Sadness because for a week I was immerses in this world, in Barcelona, so fascinated by Julián Carax and his mystery as Daniel was.
I'll miss Fermín and his "jokes", I'll miss entering the Aldaya's mansion and feeling part of the adventure. I felt like I was part of the story and that is one of the most wonderful things. It was as if the characters were friends of mine.
I have so much to say about this book but at the same time I don't really know what to say. I think if I say too much it will loose it's magic. As it happened with Daniel and Carax's book, I didn't searched for this one, it found me and I'm so grateful for that. I won't say more because I'm still in Barcelona and I'm having a hard time saying goodbye to this magnificent world.

I had this book on my self for over a year. It was one of the first books I bought after discovering booktube.
I hadn't much expectations for this book and it felt to me like a "meh" book. I'm not saying that it isn't good or is bad written, I just think it wasn't for me. One thing I enjoyed was the relationship between Mary Quinn and James Easton. I liked the bantering and how the author didn't rush anything between them. Not thinking about continue with this series.

Brutal yet powerful. A eye opener, a punch in the face, a scream, a wake up call.
This book is wonderful.
From the beginning you feel attached to these characters like they are your own friends. The story is very well written and I was very much surprised how a man could write a girl perspective so well and so beautiful. Very engaging. You keep reading and reading and suddenly you reached the end of the book. Couldn't keep it down, read in a day. To be honest the only reason I did not give 5 stars was because the ending felt short to me. I was expecting more, a bit disappointing. Overall is an amazing book! Totally recomend it and it's now part of my favorites. Be prepared to cry and laugh...a lot!

When I first read "If I Stay", I gave the book 2 stars because I didn't connect with the characters until the very end of the book. Not a single tear.
But this book was so different! I really enjoyed Adam's POV. It was so heart breaking reading this...I was surprised to see how much the characterd changed and how mature they were. I cried a couple of times. So glad I picked up this because it's the perfect ending for Adam's and Mia story.
After I read it, I couldn't stop thinking about this wonderful book!! Really excited to see the If I Stay movie :)
