This was my first Rachel Gibson novel and also Texas themed book. I felt it had a nice plot, somehow good dialogues but there was too many slow paced moments. I didn't like the fact, the author gives an interesting fact about the story that might changed things but then she stops and it's like it never existed. A very predictable book.
