Brutal yet powerful. A eye opener, a punch in the face, a scream, a wake up call.
I thought this was going to be an awesome book but I'm fairly disappointed.
The protagonists fell in love too quickly for my taste and I couldn't connect to them.
The end was boring which was the most disappointing. It was a bit like a twilight wannabe.

Very crazy but it is Gus Van Sant and a character inspired in River so...I enjoyed.
It was a struggle to get through this book. First I found the protagonists names awful and names are important; in a way it shapes the characters. No really depth, prediactable and it made me want to stay way from paranormal books for awhile.
I am really glad I decided to pick up this book and read it. I had previously seen the movie but the book is so much more.
You get really connected to Charlie and the people who surrounds him. I like the way it is written, like it flows and does not try too hard. It also delivers good messages and I feel like now I need to re-watch the movie.

Oh wow...what a ride! Those last pages...!!!
This book was really really good and it was better in the sense that I had zero expectations for it. Very interesting and a bit on the side of thought provoking. Beautifully written and now I need to watch the movie. What an excellent book surprise!
