This was the first book I read about addictions, especially sex addiction.
I thought the plot was very well constructed and how much the main characters, Lily (sex addicted) and Lo (alcohol addict) grew through out the story.
The emotions they went through and the struggles someone has when they are addicted to something was well portrayed.
I really fell for Lily and Lo as a couple but I also liked the other characters like Ryke and Connor.
The end was touching and I cannot wait to see what will unfold for Lo and Lily.

Well well well...I think it's safe to say that I'm not in love with this series as much as The Vampire Academy.
As it happened before, I didn't feel particularly interested in the plot, although the ideas were interesting. I don't know, maybe my problem is with Sydney because I can't connect with her as much as I did with Rose.

This book had it's ups and downs. For most part of the book nothing major happened and it seemed it was going nowhere. As always, at least with this series, it eventually picked up it's pace towards the end. However it didn't grab be to the book.

I continue to enjoy reading Adrian's POV and how Richelle writes and develops him. I don't particularly love or hate Sydney, I just can't connect with her. And the rest of the characters are just meh.

That was something that did surprise because I didn't imagine happening and it took me by surprise. I think it was the highlight for me. About the ending it was predictable and didn't excited me.

Overall, it was just an ok read for me.

I don't understand why this book has so many low ratings because IT'S FREAKING BLOODY GOOD!

After reading the first pages of this book, I already knew this would be my kind of book. I heard of this book through Marlinelina's November book haul and since it was about dancing and ballet I decided to pick-it up.
This surpassed my expectations. There was never a dull moment and it was totally unpredictable. There were a few moments when I seriously dropped my jaw. My advice if you're going to read this: People are not always who they seem to be.
AND NOW I CANNOT FREAKING WAIT FOR BOOK 2!!!

Very disappointing.
Great plot, poor development.

This book took me by surprise since when I started reading it, I knew nothing about it. I thought it was going to be about southern belles, pageants and a kick ass female leader. At least I was right about this part. This book, written by Rachel Hawkins, author of the Hex Hall series, is nothing like it. It still has humor, sense of friendship and some kick ass moves. Although it was an enjoyable read, it didn't blew me away. It has a really interesting plot, nice characters but somehow I think the story could have been more developed. Of course the end leaves room for a sequel. And I'm curious to see where Rachel Hawkins goes with this plot and set of characters.

|PLUS| Twisted ending.
|MINUS| The story felt short in the sense of development of the plot.

So this is the end of the Hex Hall trilogy.
I enjoyed this book, tho I have to admit the 2nd was my favorite of the three. I think what I like the most about this trilogy, apart from the paranormal stuff, is the humor. There are really great lines in this.

This last book has the expected battle against the dark forces but the death of a certain character had me shocked. Tho, in the end it makes sense. It was also good to get to know the Brannicks and I think they are a great addiction to the plot. I was also totally surprised with Elodie!!! She is one of my favorites in this book.

In general this was a good ending to an awesome trilogy. When I first started to read the first one, I wasn't sure what to expect, nor did I have too much expectations. The truth is that I think I'm going to miss Hex Hall and all the characters :)

|PLUS| The humor and unexpected turn outs.
|MINUS| It's the last one :(

|Rating| 4 stars.

Saw the movie and since then was curious to read the inspiration for it.
It didn't disappointed me, actually the movie was 90 per cent truthful to the book and I enjoyed the different ending. I loved the writing style, I think it was one of the best things. The characters are easy to follow and connect. Loved it and reads fast :)

|PLUS| The writing style.
|MINUS| So short, I wanted more.

3.5
I was never a fan of Bloodlines. I'm not the biggest fan of Sydrian. I don't think Vampire Academy and Bloodlines are on the same level. However, I did enjoyed this last installment.
At first I was bored and was dragging myself through the pages but then it picked up and got very interesting. There were some emotional moments and it was good to bring Rose and Dimitri back. There were things that felt rushed like discovering Dimitri's father but in general it was a good read.

|Rating| 2 stars.

I started to read this book because I knew it was made into a movie and since I'd known this book for quite some time I decided to give it a chance...

The first few chapters of the book got me interested, it's a shame it quickly started to get me bored. I think the best part of this was the prologue because it got me wondering and excited.
I had so many issues with Luce...I didn't like her at all. Too naive and obsessive for me. I also didn't liked Daniel, I thought as a character even Cam was more interesting than him. I really enjoyed Arriane, Penn and Gabbe. They were one of the reasons why I kept reading. Overall this book was a big disappointment to me. Although Lauren Kate has a nice plot going on, it felt flat and boring.

|PLUS| The secondary characters.
|MINUS| Everything else.

|Rating| 2 disappointing stars.

Letters to famous dead people? Cool...
Afff...I don't know where to start with this book. When I saw the sinopses I thought the book was going to be amazing. It looked edgy and I liked that. But....it wasn't that edgy. If it wasn't for the story told as in letters and if this would be a regular book, I would give just one star.

I disliked Laurel, she was just all over the place for me. I didn't connect with her maybe because I'm in another phase in my life and I thought sometimes she over reacted. She was too much for me too handle.

The plot isn't anything we haven't seen before in other books. The writing was fine and the world building was poor.

|PLUS| River Phoenix.
|MINUS| Laurel narrating.
