The movie is better than the book in my opinion. The ending was underwhelming and I could not feel as much emotion as I did in the film.

This had me quiver with fear from start to finish and I could not put this book down. Sophie's story is so powerful and emotional and is a must read so that we can all be aware of human trafficking and its consequences. Just as a warning though, her traumatising experiences are heavily detailed in my opinion and may cause readers some uncomfortableness whilst reading it.
