I need Alex Nilsen biblically. I loved this, there was a bit too much “will they wont they” towards the end that made sense for the character development, but annoyed me bc obviously “they will”. Still cute and yummy tho.

This was a solidly cute book I will def read the next one. I love Emily my woman in magical stem and I love Wendell my con artist man who’s job is cozy house. They’re both the worst and the best and that’s what makes this book so cutesy.

idk how anyone can possibly be okay after the events of this book. truly fucked up in the grandest of proportions— like get yourself a one way ticket to trauma city level. there is a sequel type novella that’s in the print version that i got from the library so i’m reading that next but first i need to recover from this insanity. tbh the only thing that would’ve made this series better is if i cared at all about dean and cassie like i just don’t think they had that much chemistry but when your life revolves around serial killers how much social intelligence can you really have? (the way i used almost all the trigger warning tags is crazy)

okay so i was in a reading slump idk why (actually my lady jane is why) but this books plot was CRAZY. I was not expecting all those connections to the previous books and after that ENDING??? yeah this one gets 4.25/5 stars.
