Non so come spiegarlo ma questo romanzo ha un'atmosfera estiva come il film "aftersun";  malinconica e nostalgica... La nostra narratrice parla di tutto e di niente, mentre noi la accompagniamo nella sua solitudine. Mi ha piaciuto molto e sono contenta d'avere potuto leggerlo nella sua lingua originale: italiano

In my opinion, this is thomas savage's best work; I really enjoyed it, and the best part is Savage's introduction to every character, it's just so rich, his writing so clever, you get soaked in very easily.

Just like reading "Out" by the same author, the story's going so well and then the ending is rushed and out of the blue and kind of overshadows how good the story was going. It wasn't bad, though, I did enjoy it.

I'm someone who loves learning languages and this is the first book I read in Italian. I love the way she narrates her journey, I think that, for every language love out there, it's going to be very relatable, especially if you have that one language you fell in love with completely. I'm definitely going to check more of her works! ❤️

Reading this book felt like i was having a conversation with an old friend, saying: I know how you feel, it's okay. The message at the end was very special to me, the stories made me cry but I'm glad I was able to close the year with such a beautiful book 💌
