I tried to continue after they switched artists in season 2, but it was a rough go. The characters barely resemble themselves.

I definitely liked this story, but they're both seriously fucked up in a way that's dangerous to society as a whole. At least the HEA is

them looking for rapists to kill away from most people in Alaska.

I think this book suffered  comparison to another fairytale inspired book I read earlier in the month (Deerskin by Robin McKinley) - not intentionally, but I am a capricious being. I thought the writing was lovely, but it's not likely to stay with me very long.

This is my favorite dynamic.

This was trending toward a 5 star read for me - the baby thing kind of brought down the whole vibe, which sucks since it's was the ending. It's always harder to sort my feelings about a book as a whole when I don't like how it ends.

Just riddled with stereotypes and infodumps even at 11% in, so I knew I couldn't handle finishing this one.
