I don't feel like the MMC really had any character development and the MFC was just a tad bit frustrating. I don't usually leave reviews but it was such a hard listen. The only thing I enjoyed was the use of magic in the world and would have loved for it to have been utilized more. I also enjoyed the background characters far more and would have loved to have learned more about them. The story does come to a satisfying ending but the journey was dissatisfying.
