I read this book as a preview for one of my kiddos and I have to say it was quite an enjoyable read even for an adult. It could really relate to current times and what could possibly be our future if things do not change.

My 4 kiddos and I very much enjoyed listening to the Audio version of this book going to and from appointments today. It was amazing to see my kiddos entranced while listening instead of fighting in the back seat ❤

I introduced The Boxcar Children via audio book to my almost 9 year old this morning as we traveled to the next town over to see a orthodontist and he absolutely LOVED this book. He is currently listening to another within the series in his room on his tablet and I can see me purchasing the physical books to add to our ever growing home library!

It was so nice to "re read" this book after so many years as this series was the first I ever read and made me fall in love with reading ❤

What in the world did I jut listen to? A group of people on a book Facebook page were talking about this book so I decided to try to find it on Libby since my local library didn't have it. The audiobook was readily available while the ebook book had a several month wait so I listened to and from a doctors appointment today in another town. A good sign right... nope. While the story line was ok, it was a little crass with a whole lot of crazy. The story was rushed with no real development until the last chapter and then it was like the author was just ready for it to end. I really wanted to like it as I wanted a good creepy read for October, but I guess I should have just stuck with my original plan of reading House of Furies by Madeleine Roux since I love her writing (I'll probably still be reading it this month as I like to try to read as many creepy/spooky reads in October that I can).

I'm a pretty big fan of strangers things so was so excited when I found this book at BAM in the discount section. While I loved the book since I got to see the original development of Brenners program and who Terry was before being zapped by him, there were a couple inconsistencies with the Netflix series. I can only assume that is because him, was written in 2019 and the author couldn't have know what was coming next in the series.
