I was blessed with a pre release copy of this sweet book. It has beautiful illustrations and will be wonderful for foster kids who have to leave a foster home for whatever reason. If you are a foster parents I highly suggest stocking up on a few of these books to gift your kiddos as they leave your care.

I have owned this book for a couple years, but have been reluctant to read it. And now I know why...
It stepped... No STOMPED on my toes MANY times in tbe 241 pages it contains. No matter how firm you believe your faith is, this is a must read. Groeschel has a way of mixing humor in with the really hard stuff that makes you want to continue reading when the enemy tells you to STOP since the enemy knows just how much the foot stomping with grow your relationship with God and the enemy doesn't want that at all!

Decent book, but a little hard to stay focused on. I will say this is one of the few books where the movie is better... And it takes a LOT for me to even say that as I 99.9% of the time prefer the books.

I recently went through a really difficult time in my life and decided to read this book I had bought several months before. I was not disappointed! This book walks you through the book of Habakkuk and how he was angry with God and asked questions of him. Why he was going through what he was going through. Groeschel has an amazing way of taking a book of the bible and applying it to today's principles. Be does not sugar coat the truth and he gives practical information and advice.
This book helped me pull out if a deep depression by letting me know it's ok to be hurt and angry. That is ok to wrestle with God and ask him the difficult questions. He wants to hear from us no matter what the context so He can show us just how much he is working in our lives.

Definitely worth the read for those that are struggling and for those that are wanting to know how to handle life's valleys.

Amazing read. If you want a glimpse into the holocaust without too much gore. It is based on a true story and is clean enough for young readers.
