This is a short dickens book and reading this means you can brag to your friends saying you read a dickens book. It was ok but not overly fantastic.

I have never watched pitch-perfect.
I know who Anna Kendrick is though and I can tell you that this is a great autobiography.
Anna gives a tell-all biography that is decorated with humour. It starts off with her as a young girl, to where she is today. The book is an endearing quirky read and such an enjoyable book.
I love the shifts from being poetic to talking about boys!
The recollections were something that made the book so good.
Honestly, if the whole book was full of quirky jokes, it would have been amazing.
I hear Anna reads the book out loud in audiobook form, might have to check it out.
The pages felt very small for a hardcover, however, and occasionally I got annoyed with how much commenting was to do with boys.

This was pretty boring, maybe this AUthor just isn't for me.
I felt no connection to the plot or the characters and skipped some pages.

Alison is typically very intelligent, yet I feel like we are told not shown, the authors are limiting Alison's intelligence and expanding her childish and immature behaviours. This is concerning because Alison's actions towards the PDA do not show any maturity, and when Hana is taken, she is still clueless about why this happened and how her actions caused this.

I loved this book but there's something missing, I feel like the story is slow to develop and I kind of wish we had a side storyline, like with YTT in the Leira Chonicles. Yet sometimes side stories can be annoying so it really depends on how much you care about a particular character. If it was a Mason one, I wouldn't care at all. Once the story kicks in though, it's fast fast fast!
