very creepy slow burn. i loved the uniqueness of it following a ragtag group of filmmakers, and it felt like each character was their own person. but i wish the overt ableism regarding two characters was addressed. but overall i think this is a well-crafted, well-written horror book! i can definitely see this as a movie/mini series

tw: depression, attempted suicide, implied rape of a mentally ill person, vilification of a mentally ill person

wow. this book really surprised me!! i went in with mild expectations bc i saw it around tiktok but i wasn’t prepared for how much i’d love it!! the first half was kind of okay but OH MAN the second half??? actually, more like the last 2/3, bc the author wastes NO TIME getting to the point
