The SCP universe is a deeply detailed online database created by many users. You can tell the author is one of them, and has made a short yet chilling book you can finish in a very short amount of time. As an SCP fan I can say I really enjoyed a lot of the book, but even certain parts left me confused, as if you don't know an SCP, your left in the blind. They constantly throw all the most popular ones at you but it just left me at a taste for more depth, and especially explanation. I enjoyed the main characters but the way they are treated by the foundation feels out of characther regarding their usual stance on human life. There was also a few, weirdly enough, writing structure and word issues. The use of the word noob completely broke my own immersion for a bit, humorously. Italics are often used to protray the thoughts but also can be used to emphasize actions.
With all of that being said, I finished the book quickly for a reason. At points I was left confused or unsatisfied, but I had the same amount of adrenaline as the characters flipping through the book, with many parts of the SCP universe being subtly explained greatly, and I'll give this a big recommendation to anyone within the fandom. If you aren't though, I can't say its a big recommendation from me.
