Really loved this! It was a really quick read, very entertaining and fun. I loved the protagonist and the four guys. Although it felt like we only got to see into two of them, the other two guys were more like side characters even though they were meant to be main characters. I hope the second book features them more

Loved loved loved this book. I’m so excited to read the second one! It was so fun and adventurous and spicy!

I loved the plot I thought it was super interesting. And the world building was really easy to understand and didn’t dig into the main plot.

There were a few scenes were consent was very vague so it made me a bit uncomfortable but other than that it was a fun book.

This sequel was just as good as the first book! I’m having trouble finding the words to rate this book other than it was incredible !

The characters were amazing, the relationships between one another was so gripping. But the plot is where it gets me.

The last 50-100 pages to me were amazing. It seemed like there was a new twist and clue every page or so. Usually I don’t like that. I don’t usually like when books have so much going on you get confused. But with every additional subplot and revelation in this book, you get more snd more sucked in. I couldn’t put it down.
Honestly the last 50-100 pages had my heart racing and honestly yelling at the book. I was so invested in the plot and the ending did not disappoint. I’m so excited for the third book!

Who knew I would like alien p0rn as much as I did?! This is definitely not something I would usually pick up. But it was one of the books in my book club so I decided to go out of my comfort zone and read it.

And I finished it in one sitting.

I absolutely devoured this book. It was so steamy and fun. The beginning was a little questionable when it comes to consent which is basically the only reason why it wasn’t five stars but I loved it other than that.

I honestly didn’t think I’d love this book as much as I actually did. I love the acotar series, especially for the action, conflict, keeping you on the edge of your seat, etc. At first I was a little disappointed that this book was a novella and focused on the character relationships but the book came through!!!

I loved how we got to still see conflict, mainly internal conflict, and still got to dee the romance and tension;).

Honestly we got new perspectives on recurring characters like cassian , got to dee some depth into his usually carefree character. And some reasoning behind why nesta is as stubborn as she is. I loved it!

One of my favorite books of the year! A sapphic sleeping beauty retelling?! What else could you need?

I loved that this book was told in the villains point of view. I think it really revealed thoughts and perspectives that we can’t get with an average protagonist. I absolutely loved this book snd I’m so excited to read the second!

The world building was incredibly and unique. Usually I only see this storytelling type of world building in the beginning of Disney princess movies. It was really easy to understand and picture in your head.

This book was a pretty easy and enjoyable read. I was entertained basically the entire book, which kind of surprised me considering I don’t usually read this genre. I loved the plot of the book, but I didn’t connect at all with the characters.

I really enjoyed the beginning half of the book but there was a scene that turned me off of the book quite a bit. Not enough to completely stop reading the book, but enough to definitely lower the rating

*spoilers*
.
.
The scene in which I referred to was when daphne impregnated herself by having sex with Simon, while he was drunk, and practically forced him to impregnate her. It was pretty disturbing how after Simon left and came back, he said how he wasn’t even mad at her because of that and it was another reason why he left. It excused her actions, the sexual assault that honestly mighty count as rape.

This book wasn’t really what I was expecting but I still liked it. It took me forever to decide how much I liked this book after reading it. At first I didn’t like it much, but I started to appreciate it a few days after I finished it.

I think the main reason why I didn’t like it was because I heard from other readers that this book was extremely gruesome and gross, so I went into the book expecting it. Don’t get me wrong, cannibalism is absolutely disgusting and a crazy thought, but it wasn’t a super gory description. But after looking past that, I did like the book.

It’s pretty different from what I usually read. These extremely gross and taboo subjects were talked about so normally, it was interesting to get a different perspective.

I didn’t really connect with the characters so the book didn’t really stick with me much afterwards but it was still an enjoyable read.

Such a great combination of depth and vulnerability for s romance book! Usually I don’t read books that focus only on romance and relationships because I find them boring and superficial. But I found this one so gripping snd exciting.

Yes this was obviously a romance book, I mean the entire plot is fake dating. But the book covered subjects like sexual assault and domestic violence, and it did such a great job at it. It made me fall in love with the characters.

A fun, adventurous y/a novel. I absolutely love the protagonist Alosa. She was so confident and daring and fun! Honestly a perfect protagonist for any y/a novel.

I loved that even though this book featured romance and some possible relationships, the book didn’t stray from the main plot, and the girls character traits didn’t change because of a love interest.

Unfortunately I didn’t fully connect with the characters, I didn’t think about the book much after I read it. I will definitely read the sequel, but I didn’t like the series enough to want to go back snd read it again anytime soon.
