This is an absolutely delightful pirate adventure romance right down to the core. All the characters, as portrayed are likeable and lovely and absolutely endeared themselves to me. It's steamy without necessarily being all about the spice and is overall really really fun. Just a real roller coaster with intrigue and betrayal and a lot of unexpectedly heartwarming moments. 
And you don't even necessarily need to like Peter Pan to enjoy it. It stands on its own extremely well.
